United Way, Agency On Aging Plan KN95 Mask Giveaways

United Way of Northwest Michigan (UWNWMI) and Area Agency on Aging of Northwest Michigan (AAANM) will be distributing free KN95 masks to residents in Antrim, Benzie, Emmet, Kalkaska and Grand Traverse Counties. They will be distributed at drive-up events with a limit of ten masks per person or 50 per vehicle. 

The events in the Grand Traverse area are:

Grand Traverse County, Friday, October 8th, 2pm–6pm (or until masks are gone)
Turtle Creek Stadium, 333 Stadium Drive, Traverse City

Benzie County, Tuesday, October 12th, 2pm–6pm (or until masks are gone)
Benzie Bus, 14150 US Highway 31, Beulah

“As vaccination efforts are underway and as reopening is on the horizon, we must not lose focus. Now more than ever, wearing a mask, washing our hands, and maintaining social distance can help us as a community beat COVID-19,” said Seth Johnson,President of UWNWMI.

“We are grateful to the State of Michigan for helping us to secure KN95 masks for community distribution to area seniors andothers who may benefit,” said Heidi Gustine, Executive Director of AAANM.
