Wed Night Farmers Market Launches On Eighth Street

By Beth Milligan | Aug. 1, 2018

A new farmers market will launch tonight from 4-7pm at 444 East Eighth Street (the empty lot across from Family Video) and run the first four Wednesday evenings in August.

Evenings on Eighth - which bills itself as the "healthier happy hour" - will feature local farmers, vendors, and food trucks selling their wares in the lot. "Stop by and pick up your vegetables for a fresh local dinner, surprise your better half with a beautiful bouquet, grab a quick bite to eat, or sample some great local products," organizers wrote of the event.

Featured vendors include Oryana, Press On Juice, Cultured Ferments, Planted Cuisine/Grow Benzie, Lavendar On Old Mission Peninsula, Bear Earth Herbals, Boss Mouse Cheese, Pure Simple Products, Rockwich, Stockist Coffee, and Lakeview Hill Farm. The market will run August 1, 8, 15, and 22.
