Writers Series Event With Tom Stanton Canceled

The National Writers Series has had to cancel an author event for the first time in the organization's history.
An Evening With Tom Stanton - scheduled for this Friday, August 25 at the City Opera House - has been canceled due to unexpected illness. According to the Writer Series, "at this point, it’s unknown if and when the event can be rescheduled." The City Opera House will be in contact with ticketholders to coordinate a full refund of their tickets.
Stanton was scheduled to talk to WTCM-AM's Ron Jolly at the Traverse City event about his new book, Terror in the City of Champions.
