Writers Series To Launch "Life in the Time of Virus”

April 2, 2020

You’re hearing and reading a lot of stories about the Coronavirus in the media these days. But those stories aren’t your story. And that’s the one the National Writers Series (NWS) wants to make part of local history.

NWS co-founder Anne Stanton says the organization is creating an all-new website that’s set to launch this Friday (April 3): Life in the Time of Virus. A compendium of entries planned to become a permanent digital archive, the site will be a place you can go to write about your experience during this one-of-a-kind moment in history, where you live it, as you live it. Writers of any level are invited to submit their story in one of three categories: middle school, high school, and adult. Each category will be awarded prizes.
