NMC Board Accepting Applications For Vacancy

The Board of Trustees of Northwestern Michigan College is seeking registered voters in Grand Traverse County who may be interested in applying to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Trustee Cheryl Gore Follette earlier this week. The appointment will expire on December 31, 2016. Applicants should submit a letter of interest and materials explaining their qualifications to the address below:

Applications must be received by 5pm on April 10 to be considered. Interviews will be conducted in public meetings according to the Michigan Open Meetings Act and application materials are subject to the Michigan Freedom of information Act. Final appointment will be made by the full NMC Board of Trustees at the board's regular April 20 meeting.
