Aggravated Domestic Assault Arrest in TC

A 42-year-old Traverse City man was arrested Wednesday in Blair Township for aggravated domestic assault with strangulation. Deputies responded to a residence in Garfield Township at approximately 4am yesterday to meet with the victim of the attack, which had occurred earlier in the night. The victim stated she had been assaulted and strangled with a coaxial cable by her husband. She did not receive medical treatment at the time. After investigating, deputies executed a search warrant at a Blair Township residence, where the man was located and arrested.
