Bid On A Baby Grand, Fill Backpacks With Food

The Ticker story last week about Blessings in a Backpack sprouted a fundraising idea in one local reader's head.
David Peterson attended a Gladhander auction several years ago and wound up with a Baby Grand Piano. It has since resided in a home, but has never been played. Now it needs a new home. Peterson was all set to put it on eBay when he read the story about the local program that provides food for schoolchildren on the weekends. Peterson decided to launch a private auction/sale for the Baby Grand, with all proceeds going to Father Fred's Blessings in a Backpack program.
