Cherry Capital Airport Adds Direct Summer Service To Boston

New direct flights will be available this summer between Traverse City and Boston on American Airlines, Cherry Capital Airport announced Thursday.

American Airlines will offer non-stop service between Cherry Capital Airport (TVC) and Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) starting June 5. Flights will be offered daily Thursday-Monday. The aircraft used for the new service route will be an Embraer E175, which seats 76 passengers.

In addition to the new Boston service route, American Airlines also announced its LaGuardia (LGA) non-stop service from TVC will now be offered daily beginning June 3. In addition to year-round direct service to Chicago, American Airlines will also offer daily seasonal service from TVC to Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) beginning May 6, daily Philadelphia (PHL) service beginning June 3, and daily Charlotte (CLT) service beginning June 5. Service to Washington DC (DCA) will be available on weekends throughout the summer season.
