City Turns Two Intersections Into All-Way Stops

Traverse City is converting two city intersections into all-way stops.

The intersection of Boon and Barlow streets will operate as an all-way stop intersection starting today (Friday). Advance warning signs were put in place on Barlow Street to caution drivers of the pending change.

The intersection of West Front and Madison streets will also operate as an all-way stop intersection going forward starting Monday (July 1). Drivers will see advance warning signs on West Front Street over the weekend notifying drivers of the upcoming change.
