Closures This Week On Lake, Twelfth Streets, Plus East State Street Alley

Westlake Construction will be closing the 800 block of Lake Street and the 200 block of East Twelfth Street between Eleventh Street and Cass Street for utility work this week near downtown Traverse City.

The project will require the streets to be closed to all traffic while work is being done. The closures will take place starting at 8am Monday, with the roads reopening by 5pm Wednesday. Access will be maintained to all businesses and residences at all times. Residents are advised to use alternate routes avoiding the area to reduce congestion and delays. Signage and barricades will be in place around the work areas.

Also this week, AT&T will be closing the south alley of the 100 block of East State Street between Union Street and Cass Street for utility work. The closure will start Monday at 8am, with the alley reopened by 5pm Saturday. The work will require the alley to be closed to all traffic while the work is being done. Access will be maintained to all businesses at all times.
