Construction On Rose Street Sidewalk Starts Wednesday; Webster Street To Follow

The City of Traverse City and Elmer’s Crane and Dozer crews will be constructing new sidewalk on Rose Street starting Wednesday, with construction on new sidewalk on Webster Street to follow.

Crews will be building a six-foot-wide sidewalk on the east side of Rose Street between East Eighth Street and Webster from May 19 through June 3. Work to build a six-foot-wide sidewalk on the south side of Webster Street between Rose Street and Michigan Avenue will take place June 1 through June 11.

Street segments will remain open to traffic with shoulder closures during the construction period. Delays can be expected. Appropriate signage and barricades will be in place around the work sites.
