Dennos Needs Docents

July 30, 2014

Northwestern Michigan College's Dennos Museum Center will offer docent training starting in September for volunteers interested in working with K-12, college and adult tour groups. A successful docent is someone with a flexible schedule who enjoys learning and teaching, particularly in the areas of art and science. A strong knowledge of art is not required, but a willingness to learn is a must. New docents will be expected to complete basic training between September and December and begin shadowing on tours in January 2015.

To learn more or sign up for for the training, contact Jason Dake or call 995.1029.
