DO NOT RUN YET Area Home Sales Dip in July

Area home sales in July dipped slightly from June and are also off the July 2024 mark. 

The median five county (Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Benize, Antrim, Kalkaska) sales price was $395,000 in July, down from $432,500 in June 2025 and $431,200 in July 2024. 

Volume was at 295 homes sold in July, which is up from 282 in June and 210 homes in July of last year.

Median sales numbers are still considerably higher than recent years, with the June 2023 median sales price at $372,500, for instance, $309,000 in June 2021 and $255,000 in June 2019. 

From a year-to-date perspective (January-July), the total residential sales volume was $604,960,291, up from $582,008,275 and $496,411,875 in the same period for 2024 and 2023.
