Grand Traverse County Parks Director Resigns

The director of Grand Traverse County's Parks and Recreation Department has resigned from his post. Jason Jones has worked for the department for more than seven years and his resignation is effective September 5.
In a Facebook posting yesterday, Jones says he and his family will be "moving on to a new chapter in our lives in early September."
