Interlochen Announces Summer Lineup

By Beth Milligan | April 12, 2019

Interlochen alumnus Josh Groban, Diana Ross, Reba McEntire, Peter Frampton, and Lady Antebellum are among the acts headlining this summer's Interlochen Arts Festival at Interlochen Center for the Arts.

The full lineup of summer concerts and events, released today (Friday), also includes a roster of student performances. Students will perform 9 to 5: The Musical, the World Youth Symphony Orchestra will perform six weekly concerts led by a roster of renowned guest conductors and guest artists (including violinist Midori), the Interlochen Shakespeare Festival will present Richard III and Eleanor Burgess’ drama The Niceties, and the interdisciplinary showcase Collage will return, among other performances.

“We are very excited to share a season with our community that brings such an incredible range of artists and types of performances to the Interlochen campus. There truly is something for everyone to enjoy and to discover,” says Trey Devey, president of Interlochen Center for the Arts. “We look forward to welcoming tens of thousands of guests this summer, where they can expect a first-class performance experience from the many luminaries we’ll present, as well as our talented students at camp.”
