Michigan State University's presence and investment in northern Michigan is shrinking the distance between Traverse City and East Lansing for students, alumni and community members alike. MSU has numerous ties to TC, ranging from the well-known MSU Extension program to an increasingly robust bridge between northern Michigan and the MSU medical school.
