Edmund Arlt, a 50-year-old Kingsley man, is facing multiple three felonious assault charges and a felony firearm charge after allegedly shooting at a Greenwood Township home this week.

Michigan State Police troopers were dispatched at 8:13pm Sunday to the residence in response to reported shots fired at the victims' home, striking it. Troopers obtained a search warrant for the suspect’s residence and seized a firearm. The suspect, Edmund Arlt, was arrested by the MSP Emergency Support Team and lodged at the Wexford County Jail without incident. No injuries were reported.

Arlt was arraigned Monday in 84th District Court in Wexford County on three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon (felonious assault) and one weapons count (felony firearm). His next court appearance is scheduled for February 10 at 10:30am.
