Lululemon Opening Traverse City Store On Front Street

By Beth Milligan | March 7, 2020

Lululemon will open its first northern Michigan store on Front Street in downtown Traverse City this summer, The Ticker has exclusively learned.

The company will run a 2,000 square-foot "pop-up" store starting in June at 204 East Front Street next to Espresso Bay, according to realtor Dan Stiebel of Coldwell Banker Commercial Schmidt. Stiebel says lululemon has been scouting locations in the area for two years and plans to operate the store through at least the 2020 holiday season and possibly beyond.

In addition to online sales, the popular athletic and yoga wear retailer operates 460 stores worldwide and 11 in Michigan, all in the southern part of the state. Traverse City will be the company's first location north of Grand Rapids.
