New BATA Director Resigns

The Bay Area Transportation Authority (BATA) board of directors accepted the resignation of recently hired Executive Director Jeff Meilbeck. Meilbeck joined BATA October 1 and officially resigned at BATA’s October 23 board meeting.

Meilbeck submitted his resignation to focus on his family in Arizona, according to a statement from BATA. Chris Davis will serve as BATA’s Interim Executive Director while the BATA Board re-starts the search for a new leader.
