New Direction For Suds & Snow

Jan. 17, 2015

Troy Daily – owner of Daily Medias in Traverse City – has been hired as the new director of the annual Suds & Snow event at Timber Ridge Resort. Described as the “ultimate party in the woods,” the event includes snowshoeing, microbrews, food and live music on the property. This will mark the ninth season of the event.

“My team and I recently took over operations of (Suds & Snow), which has received a ton of community support and a great following in the past,” says Daily, who's launched such other local brew-focused ventures as the TC Ale Trail and TC Cycle Pub.

Suds & Snow will take place this year on Saturday, March 7 from 1:30-6:30pm. Daily says he plans to offer two live music stages with alternating sets from acts including the Lucas Paul Band and Nick and J. As many as fifteen breweries are planning to be in attendance. Three food tents will also be available offering paella, a pig roast and a burger and brat bar. Attendees will check in at the Timber Ridge banquet hall and then hike a half-mile through the woods to the event area. Snowshoes are welcomed, but not required.

Tickets for Suds & Snow are $25 in advance or $35 at the door and include one drink token good for the equivalent of a pint. For more information, click here.
