New Sidewalk Construction Underway On Boon, Carver Streets

Traverse City, Machin Engineering, Elmer’s Crane and Dozer, and Bella Concrete Construction crews have begun constructing new sidewalks on two city streets.

Crews started work Wednesday and will be building sidewalk on Boon Street between South Garfield Avenue and Hastings Street and on Carver Street between South Garfield Avenue and Hastings Street. The work is expected to be substantially complete by August 26. Affected street segments will remain open to traffic. Delays can be expected.

The easterly northbound lane of South Garfield Avenue at the Boon Street intersection will be closed to all traffic between August 5 and August 12.
