April 20, 2015

Northwestern Michigan College trustees will meet in special session today (Mon.) at 2pm at the Oleson Center (main campus) to winnow the list of 10 applicants http://www.traverseticker.com/story/ten-apply-for-nmc-board-seat for the vacant board seat down to three. Each candidate will have three minutes to address the board and answer any questions from board members, who will then publicly identify his or her top three candidates.

Those candidates will then be asked to attend the regularly scheduled board meeting at 5:30pm (also at the Oleson Center), may be asked additional questions and then trustees will vote on which candidate will serve the remainder of former Trustee Cheryl Gore Follette's term, which expires December 31, 2016.
