Nominate A Cherry Queen Candidate Today

Dec. 27, 2016

Applications for National Cherry Queen 2017-18 are now available online at cherryfestival.org.

Any young woman between the ages of 19-24 as of July 7, 2017, who is a resident of the State of Michigan and who can secure one or multiple sponsors and fulfill all other eligibility requirements (as outlined in the Queen Candidate Application) may apply by the deadline of May 10, 2017. The National Cherry Queen selection process takes place in two phases.

The Queen Candidate Selection competition consists of three interviews, one speech related to the cherry industry or Cherry Festival and one question on stage during the Queen Candidate Finalist Selection Program. That program will take place on a date to be determined in mid-May. At the conclusion of the Queen Candidate Selection Program, four candidates will be announced.
