Popular PBS Travel Show to Focus on TC; Premiere at Opera House

For 25 years, Samantha Brown has crossed the world hosting a popular travel television program. This year, her “Places to Love” will promote Traverse City to a nationwide audience.

A free Traverse City premiere of Samantha Brown’s Places to Love (PBS) will held on Tuesday, February 18th, at the City Opera House.
 
The program will have its first local airing on WCMU-TV on Saturday, February 22, at 10:30 am. The program is expected to run nationwide on most Public Television stations for three years or more.
 
The Traverse City premiere event, hosted by Traverse City Tourism, will include conversations with some participants and an interview with Samantha. The program will begin at 6 p.m. with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. The event is free, and a cash bar featuring local beer and wine will be available.
