Potter's Bakery Closes Hall Street Location

Potter's Bakery has permanently closed its second location at 130 Hall Street in Traverse City, refocusing its attention on the company's flagship store at 908 East Eighth Street.

The company announced the closure on Facebook. "We are sad to announce it is the end of an era for us at our downtown location," Potter's wrote. "New things are happening at our main location so stay tuned...thank you for your amazing business and staying with us through all the changes! See you over on Eighth Street!"

Potter’s owners Kathy and Mike Potter recently expanding their Eighth Street footprint to take over the entire property. The newly opened Potter’s Cakery & Creative Room – located next to the main bakery – offers cake decorating and pastry classes, public and private events, wedding consultations and a retail front selling cake decorating supplies.
