PTSD Event At State Theatre

A Matter of Honor, a local nonprofit aiming to spread awareness of post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in the military and veteran populations, is hosting Dr. Jonathan Shay at an event tomorrow (Tues., Nov. 11) in honor of Veterans Day.

Dr. Shay, physician, scholar, humanitarian and author of "Achilles in Vietnam," has treated veterans with PTSD for more than 20 years. He will make a presentation to the community at the State Theatre in downtown TC, 6-7pm. Admission is free. Immediately following the event there will be a book signing and a chance to meet Dr. Shay at Horizon Shine Cafe (lower level of Horizon Books).
