Rare Bird, Create TC To Host "Very Rare-Y Christmas"

Nov. 22, 2014

Rare Bird Brewpub and Create TC are teaming up to host "A Very Rare-y Christmas," an inaugural day-long community Christmas party offering both indoor activities and an "outdoor winter wonderland" on Saturday, December 20.

The event will feature live music from 2pm-2am including The Crane Wives, Brady Corcoran and Sweater Party, and 2Bays DJ's. Food and drink specials - including a variety of Christmas beers and specialty drinks such as warm Glühwein and egg nog - will be offered throughout the day. A light pairing menu will also be available.

Outdoor activities - which will take place from noon-10pm in the parking lot behind the pub - will include a s'more station, brat and hot dog bar, corn hole and heating stations featuring burn barrels and umbrella heaters. Tickets will be $10 at the door all day from 12pm-12am. Reentry is allowed. Guests wearing either a full Santa Clause or elf costume will receive half-off their cover and their first drink. Advance tickets can be purchased online here.
