Registration Open for Traverse Connect's Annual Economic Summit

Oct. 11, 2024

Registration is now open to area organizations and individuals for the Traverse Connect Annual Economic Summit on November 4 at the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa.

The Annual Economic Summit will offer a half-day of economic forecasting and business development uniquely tailored to northwest Michigan businesses, according to a release from Traverse Connect.

The Summit includes networking opportunities intentionally tailored for business-to-business connections, a panel discussion on the Grand Traverse region’s economic development goals, a fireside chat with the President & CEO of CMS Corporation & Consumers Energy, and a keynote address from Jeff Guilfoyle, chief deputy treasurer of the Michigan Department of Treasury. Tickets for the Summit are $55 for Traverse Connect investors and $75 for future investors. Tables of eight for the Summit’s Luncheon may be reserved for $500.

Traverse Connect and Michigan's Creative Coast will be hosting individuals from outside the Grand Traverse region to attend the Annual Economic Summit as Northern Explorers. Northern Explorers are professionals hoping to relocate to the region and will be provided with the opportunity to network with industry leaders, residents, and local northern Michiganders during a morning of networking, economic forecasting, and business development. A profile of each Northern Explorer will be shared with attendees prior to the Summit.

More information about event speakers can be found at the registration link above (scroll down).
