Retail Report: July Up, Positive Fall Forecasts

Michigan's retail industry posted strong sales numbers in July for the second month in a row, with 63 percent of Michigan Retailers Association members showing increased sales over July 2013. Looking forward, 58 percent of members expect sales through the end of summer and early fall to increase compared to the same period last year – while 13 percent project a decrease and 29 percent no change.
