Road Closures On Eighth, Thirteenth Streets

By Beth Milligan | May 7, 2018

Construction work will require road closures on portions of Eighth and Thirteenth streets today (Monday) in Traverse City.

The 200 block of West Eighth Street will be closed between Pine and Locust streets from noon until 2pm today. Construction will require the street to be closed to all traffic while the work is being done. Access will be maintained to all residences at all times. There will be a signed detour in place during the closure.

The city's water and wastewater maintenance department will also be making water system improvements on Thirteenth Street starting today and continuing through Thursday. The 300 block of Thirteenth Street will be closed between Wadsworth and Pine streets daily from 8am until 3pm. Signage and barricades will be in place around the work area.
