Shimmers Name Change Ahead

West Bay Beach, a Holiday Inn Resort hosted a huge Recess event last night...and in the process spilled some exclusive details to The Ticker and its readers. Longtime nightclub Shimmers will be renamed View and will incorporate more local foods, vendors, and an upscale culinary vibe. The space that was formerly sports bar Wingers will be renamed Day Club, and will serve as a lounge and coffee bar featuring Starbucks products. Part of the Day Club renovations will include an expanded outdoor patio bar for more seating and dining. A special unveiling event will be held next month.
