By Beth Milligan | May 4, 2021

The City of Traverse City and Elmer’s Crane and Dozer will be constructing new sidewalks in sections of Barlow and Rose streets starting Wednesday (May 5) and continuing through June 14.

Crews will be building six-foot sidewalks on both sides of Barlow Street between Carver and Boon streets (pictured). Sidewalk ramp replacement or construction will also take place at the intersections of Carver Street/Rose Street, Baldwin Street/Rose Street, Boon Street/Rose Street, Rose Street/Kinross Street, Rose Street/Kelley Street, and Rose Street/Hannah Avenue.

Street segments will remain open to traffic with shoulder closures. Delays can be expected. Appropriate signage and barricades will be in place around the work areas.
