By Beth Milligan | April 2, 2018

Traverse City's State Theatre will host a free screening of the NCAA men's basketball national championship game tonight (Monday) on the theater's big screen.

The game will feature the University of Michigan playing against Villanova for the national title. Michael Moore of the Traverse City Film Festival, which manages the theater, announced Sunday that since "it's not often we get to watch Michiganders play for a national championship," the theater would broadcast the game for free on the big screen. No advance tickets are required; attendeees can just show up at the theater beginning at 8:30pm.

The Wolverines and Wildcats tip off at 9:20pm in San Antonio's Alamodome. The game will air on TBS.
