TEDxTraverse City Seeking Local 'Pitches'

Nov. 25, 2015

TEDxTraverse City, the local, independent version of the international TED event focused on "ideas worth spreading," is hosting a Pitch Night to get more new ideas on the stage during the May 11 event. Organizers are splitting up one of the standard 18-minute speaking slots and creating three six-minute slots. Individuals who'd like to make a pitch for an "idea worth spreading" can apply now (submissions due Fri., Jan. 8). Twenty submissions will have the opportunity to 'pich' to the community at Pitch Night on Mon., Feb. 29 for one of three speaking slots at the spring event.
