Traverse City Food & Wine Set to Return August 19-23

By Beth Milligan | Dec. 11, 2025

After launching its inaugural event celebrating the region's culinary and agricultural scene this summer, Traverse City Tourism has announced that Traverse City Food & Wine will return August 19-23, 2026.

While details are still in the works, the 2026 event will feature five days of "celebrity chefs, cooking demonstrations, food and beverage pairings, fine dining, farm tours, and specialty tours and tastings," according to Traverse City Tourim. The Grand Tasting - featuring chef demos, dozens of local bites, and over 100 local beers, wines, and spirits - will be held on Saturday, August 22.

“With the wide variety of freshly grown fruits, vegetables, fish, and meats, the Traverse City area has a unique story to tell,” said Traverse City Tourism COO Whitney Waara. “The first year of the event was a resounding success. We’ve seen that chefs, participants, and winemakers are enthusiastic about returning next year.”

The inaugural event this summer featured over 80 events - many sold out - with celebrity chef Tyler Florence serving as headliner. Visitors from 34 states attended the event, according to Traverse City Tourism.
