Traverse City Lands New Direct Flights To Three Florida Cities

June 19, 2019

Allegiant Airlines has announced new, non-stop flights from Cherry Capital Airport to three Florida cities beginning in October. Flights to Tampa/St. Pete, Orlando/Sanford, and Fort Myers/Punta Gorda will run twice weekly. For a limited time, the company is offering introductory rates as low as $69 o those destinations.

“Cherry Capital Airport (TVC) is excited to be a partner with Allegiant, the first ultra-low-cost carrier to fly from Northern Michigan!” said TVC's Kevin Klein. “These new flights continue to show the growth and development our Pure Michigan region has to offer travelers. Low-cost, high-value vacation packages, nonstop, and lots of fun; it is our opportunity as a community to promote, use, and grow this service. It has been a long-time goal of our region to welcome Allegiant.”
