Woman Charged With Embezzling from Qdoba

A 31-year-old Traverse City woman turned herself in Friday on charges of embezzling from her employer, Qdoba Mexican Grill.

Lynzee Dianna Sanders is accused of embezzling approximately $14,500 from the South Airport Road business over an eighth-month period between the fall of 2014 and spring 2015. Sanders faces one felony embezzlement count, plus an additional charge of being a habitual offender; she was previously charged with second degree child abuse in the death of her infant in 2010.

Sanders is in Grand Traverse County Jail awaiting a bond hearing and arraignment.
