Cherry Capital Comic Con This Weekend

Cherry Capital Comic Con (C4) - northern Michigan's "largest comic book and pop entertainment expo" - will take place this weekend at Grand Traverse Resort & Spa.

The three-day comic book convention offers artist signings, merchandise sales, panel discussion, costume contests, parties and more. The event kicks off tonight (Friday) with a convention floor preview night from 5-8pm, as well as a VIP meet-and-greet with Clerks star Brian O’Halloran from 6-8pm and a C4 After Hours Drink & Draw from 9pm-12am for VIP ticket holders.

The main convention floor will be open Saturday from 10am-6pm and Sunday from 11am-5pm. Saturday will feature multiple panel discussions throughout the day, a fan Q&A with O'Halloran from 11:30am-12:30pm, an adult costume contest at 6pm and a C4 After-Hours Party & Art Auction from 8pm-12am. Sunday will feature a kids costume contest from 10am-11am and a kids parade at 11am. Both days will also feature an all-day gaming room for players to drop in and play card and table-top games. Tickets are $20 for a weekend pass ($75 for a VIP weekend ticket), $10 for an individual Saturday or Sunday pass, and $5 for a Friday night preview pass. Admission is free for kids age 10 and under.
