DDA To Host Old Town/TIF 2 Planning Meetings

June 29, 2016

The Traverse City Downtown Development Authority (DDA) will host two meetings this week with neighborhood groups to discuss planning efforts and potential future development in Old Town as part of a proposed new tax increment financing (TIF) 2 district.

The meetings are scheduled for Thursday, June 30 at 7pm and Friday, July 1 at 9am. The sessions are targeted at members of Boardman, Old Town and Central neighborhoods, but are open to anyone in the public interested in attending. Both meetings will take place in the second-floor training room of the Governmental Center on Boardman Avenue.

A similar meeting was held with the Slabtown neighborhood earlier this month.
