TCBN: Cool Properties, Cool Realtors, Top Sellers

May 1, 2026

What do a longtime FBI analyist and accomplished pediatrician have in common? They're now buying and selling real estate in the Grand Traverse region. What do a "new build" Victorian mansion and sprawling equestrian estate have in common? They're yours if you can come up with the dough.

It's always a fun month over at The Ticker's sister publication Traverse City Business News, which dives into all things real estate for the May issue each year. In addition to breakin down the top residential and commerical realtors by sales data, the issue also features a look at "cool" properties in the region and showcases some realtors with interesting backgrounds or methods.

Not into real estate? The May issue also includes stories about heath, wellness and vanity along with insights from nearly a dozen local columnists.
