Employee Steals $400 From Gas Station, Leaves Note

The Traverse City Police Department wants to talk to a gas station clerk who embezzled $400 and left an apology note.

The money was stolen from the Speedway gas station at Front and Division in Traverse City Saturday, Interim Traverse City Police Chief Jeff O’Brien says.

The missing money was reported to police Sunday. O’Brien says investigators will seek out the 27-year-old suspect to question her.
