Join Us for Recess FRIDAY at the TC Curling Club!

Nov. 5, 2025

Join The Ticker for the first-ever FRIDAY Recess and learn to curl at the Traverse City Curling Club at the Cherryland Center on Friday, November 7!

Attendees at The Ticker's monthly after-work happy hour will enjoy socializing, tailgating snacks, and local and domestic beers on tap in the TC Curling Club taproom. Panther Coffee will provide samples of hot and cold brew coffee at the event. Plus, try out one of the country's fastest-growing sports with on-site curling demonstrations! Tennis/rubber-soled shoes recommended. Play the "Closest to the Button" curling game for a chance to win your choice of a TC Curling Club t-shirt or long-sleeve tee!

Attendees will be entered in a drawing to win fantastic prizes, including:
> Small Group Rental for up to 8 people, 2 hours of Ice Time ($320 value, scheduled at a time that works for the group)
> 90-Minute Try Curling Beginner Class for 2 ($60 value, must register for a scheduled class)
> K1 Speed Racing Race Tickets for 2

Admission to Recess is $10 per person and open to the public. Recess goes from 5pm to 7pm. The Traverse City Curling Club is located inside the Cherryland Center at 1712 South Garfield Ave. Recess 2025 is brought to you by Grand Traverse County, a Grand Place to Live, Work & Play.
