Night Closures On East Front Street This Week

By Beth Milligan | Sept. 25, 2022

Elmer’s Crane & Dozer will be closing East Front Street overnight between Boardman Avenue and the US-31/East Front Street/Grandview Parkway intersection for a city resurfacing project this week.

Work begins Sunday, September 25 and is anticipated to be complete by Friday, September 30. Work will be performed between the hours of 6:45pm and 7am. Two-way traffic will be maintained on US-31 through the intersection at East Front Street, with a lane closure and lane shift in place outside of work hours. During work hours, the street will be closed to all traffic and on-street parking will be prohibited.

Vehicles that are ticketed and towed in the work area will be relocated to parking lot V at the corner of West Front and Pine streets. Fees will be assessed for citations, but tow fees will be waived. East Front Street and its parking spaces will be open to traffic during the day until 6:45pm. Proper barricades and signage will be in place around the work area.
