Police Investigating Suspicious Death At Whiting Hotel

The Traverse City Police Department is investigating a suspicious death at the Whiting Hotel on Front Street.

Emergency personnel responded to the hotel Tuesday afternoon and found 40-year-old Lamont Lee Gregory unresponsive in his room. Gregory, who was originally from Kalamazoo, was taken to Munson Medical Center. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

An autopsy was scheduled for Wednesday to determine Gregory's cause of death.
