TC Man Arrested for Domestic Assault, Home Invasion

Oct. 2, 2015

A 32-year-old Traverse City man was arrested Tuesday for home invasion and domestic assault after tracking his wife to a friend's house and attacking her. The couple had been in a domestic dispute lasting several days, and the 34-year-old woman went to stay with friends in the 13000 block of Forrest Beach Shores in Leelanau Township. The man tracked her down and entered the residence without permission to confront her. After he assaulted her, the homeowner called authorities and the man fled. Deputies later located him at his residence in Grand Traverse County and arrested him for home invasion and domestic assault. He was lodged in the Leelanau County Jail.
