Teen Angel Kettle Kickoff Fundraiser To Be Held During Michigan-MSU Game

The Salvation Army Traverse City Corps in partnership with Rock 105 & 95.5 The Real Rock Station/Bear 98.1-95.3-95.1 The Classic Rock Station will host a Teen Angel Kettle Kickoff "FUNdraiser" on Saturday, November 7 outside The Pub in downtown Traverse City.

Time is TBD (it will be held during the Michigan/MSU game, the time of which hasn't been announced yet). According to a statement, the Salvation Army will have two kettles for football fans to fill with their donations: one for the University of Michigan and one for Michigan State.

The goal is to raise at least $1,000 per kettle to unlock matching dollars from sponsors Bill and Debbie Marsh and Sharon Koeing. The money will be used to provide Christmas gift and gift cards for local teens in need "who often get missed and overlooked at Christmas time."

The winning team will be annnounced the following Monday on the radio.
