Two 15-year-old males have been apprehended after allegedly damaging and stealing tools from multiple construction sites.

Michigan State Police troopers responded on August 1 to a residential construction site in Long Lake Township for a breaking-and-entering and damaged property complaint. According to MSP, "it is believed that the juveniles entered the home and caused significant damage to the interior and exterior of the house."On August 5, troopers responded to a second residential construction site for similar damage. Troopers also discovered that approximately $3,000 worth of tools were stolen from the site.

Through their investigation, the two juveniles were identified, and the estimated amount of damage is approximately $30,000. Troopers were assisted by the MSP Technical Services Unit (TSU) and the Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Office.
